Since 1986, ESI Saint-Christophe has embodied a different vision of ski teaching in Les 2 Alpes: more human, more personalised, closer to the mountains. With a passionate team and strong local roots, our ski school will help you progress at your own pace.
🏔️ Our beginnings in Les 2 Alpes
L'ESI Saint-Christophe was born in 1986founded by a group of instructors with a shared vision: to teach skiing differently. Their ambition? To create a school more human, close to the mountainsand above all centred on the pleasure of learning. Going against the grain of fixed methods, they have devised a way of working without 'tables': here, courses are not allocated on the basis of seniority, but rather depending on the match between the instructor and the student's needs.
The name "Saint-Christophe" was not chosen at random: several of the founders came from the village of Saint-Christophe-en-Oisansnestling at the foot of the massif on which the 2 Alpes glacier rests. This strong link to the valley, its people and its culture has remained with us ever since. at the heart of the school's identity.
🧙 An independent venture, then ESI
In its first season, the school operated on a completely independent basis. independentwith its own logo (the famous green and pink elf), medals and a unique approach to teaching. The following year, the school joined the syndicate of International Ski Schools (ESI)A network recognised for its values of quality, educational freedom and closeness to students.

Today, ESI Saint-Christophe is a proud member of the ESI networkwhile retaining its strong local roots. We speak several languages here, we welcome skiers from all over the world, but we don't stop there. the mountain spirit and love of the region remain at the heart of our mission.
And this link with our roots has never been broken: several of the founders are still instructors at the school today. Every winter, they pass on their passion, their know-how and their vision of skiing with the same energy as on their first day. 🏔️

For almost 40 years, ESI Saint-Christophe remains true to its DNA: an independent, human school rooted in the mountains of Oisans. But this loyalty has never held back our desire to evolve. Quite the contrary, in fact.
